  1. Expectant moms should really be prepared for the big day. This will help lessen the stress they're already going through. Most importantly, there should be emotional support from her loved ones.

  3. I still remember, I was seven months on the family way when I packed my and the baby's things for the big day. Too early ehehe, but it's better to be prepared early as no one knows what's gonna happen. I love your list as it includes also Dad's things. :)

  4. exciting and can also be a stressful time especially when we are too occupied on what stuff to get for the coming baby hehehhehe. when it comes to clothing, try to buy the bigger size because they grow up so fast and try to have a baby shower party that way you don't have to spend a lot of money.

  5. Car seat, if I may add, this is one of the important thing that parents in the Philippines that are neglected. They think that baby is much safer in the mothers hand while travelling back home and anywhere. There is nothing safer than to put the infant in the car seat in case of accident.

  6. An expecting mother will do well to heed your advise and make a list of her own as well for any additional needs. It helps to be ready before the time comes.

  8. 11 months ago I gave birth to my second baby, my little girl. I can still remember even my first pregnancy how I was so prepared with everything I need for the hospital and coming home. Here in the US it depends on the weather as to what type of clothing you need to bring. With the baby clothes, I prefer the ones that are with zippers as it is easy to change the baby's clothes. The hospital also provides the milk so I didn't have to bring any milk bottles or milk at all. I didn't even need to bring diapers because the hospital provided that and you can even ask some of those on the day you are coming home. The hospital will provide some freebies as well. I would suggest too though to bring comfy underwear like what they call granny panties especially the ones who are having or had a C-section like me because you are going to need that much comfort and a comfy dress is a big help. Can't wear pants right away that's for sure. hehehe.. there are also tons of what to bring on youtube as well if others still need some help. :)

  9. Very helpful list. It is really important to be ready for the big day. It will at least take out the stress of having all things intact. For my second pregnancy I did not include a Daddy's list as I gave birth without him around :-)
